Some might argue that Dalwhinnie should be called a Speyside malt, because its water source flows into the Spey just a bit further north. But looking at a map, it's an ideal part of a whisky exploration of Perthshire, and in fact lies only a few miles outside the "Big County's" boundaries.
The Dalwhinnie 15 year old single malt scotch whisky is a gentle spirit, and a tour of the distillery has an original end wuth a taste of Single malt whisky paired with specially selected handmade chocolate.
As the highest distillery in Scotland, the weather can be difficult, so it is always best during winter months to phone in advance to see if we are open to visitors.
Open 7 days a week all year round - but it is always best to phone or email prior to travelling!
Tel 01540 672219 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
In addition to tours, Dalwhinnie also offers excellent whisky tasting only experiences, with whiskies matched to hand made chocolate.
